Located within Simbithi Eco-Estate, this 3 bedroom family home was designed to work on a steep site and make the most of the surrounding landscape. For this, design emphasis was put on clean modern lines and maximising indoor/outdoor living space. A private outdoor area was created to help soften this transition between the inside and outside spaces.
The pitched roof, which speaks to the architectural language of the estate, works in conjunction with a large landscaped roof to create a rooftop garden tailored to the clients green thumb.
A raw material palette of timber, concrete and stone have been used to complement the natural beauty of the surrounding site.
